Pre-assessment will be completed based on Assignment 0. Students will review the videos in the resource section and write a reflection on a google doc where they will state what they know about Advent and what they learned. The information presented here will be marked on a formative level. It will give me an insight into what the students know, recently learned, and where to lead in future lessons.
General Formative Assessment
As the lessons progress, students will be engaged in conversation around a variety of topics. As students discuss the content I would be circulating around the room and speaking with the students in their groups. As I am speaking with the students I would be able to listen and add to their discussion and offer feedback. I would also be able to write down anecdotal notes on how the discussions are going, and how the students understand the content.
Part three will be marked as completed or not completed. This part of the assignment was to get the students to think about ways to help others. As we go through the lessons in the upcoming days students will discuss how these ideas they plan on doing worked, made them felt, and how they would change them.
